Mount Cook Scenic Flight
Fly along the backbone of New Zealand’s magnificent South Island from Wanaka to the spectacular Aoraki/Mount Cook, the country’s highest mountain. At 3,754 m Aoraki/Mt Cook sits amongst many other giants which peak above 3000m to make up the famous Southern Alps. Bordered by year-round snow-capped mountains, the Mackenzie Basin, with its jaw-droppingly beautiful turquoise lakes, is also home to the world’s largest sky reserve and Mount John astronomical observatory.
